Happy Birthday to D

Today is D's birthday and I made her a ring.

I haven't done wirework for a while and it is actually the very first time I built the ring myself. I picked a silvery\purplish tone as she gives me this elegant impression- and turn out it looks perfect on her finger.

Peacock feather for S

I promised S to be her maid of honour in Canada but I couldn't make it. So I offered to make her a hairpiece as a warm gift.

She wants a hairpiece to go with her hot pink dress and she would like to have peacock feathers. When I was reading through her email telling me that, I took a deep breath and thought, oh dear, this is a mission impossible.

Hope she will like this. And I wish I could be there.

Shinning stones for my sweetest friend

A, the bride-to-be, asked if I could help her to make some accessories for her pre-wedding picture shooting. I said yes of course.

I couldn't spend too much time creating so I picked a couple of designs from my mini-library. I am glad that A loved my choices and ended up I spent a whole night working on 2 sets of accessories (necklace + earclips; necklace + ring). Here are the end products:

I particularly love the purple crystal one as the set is perfect to go with a little black dress or an evening gown. I don't  plan to duplicate these sets as I want them to be exclusive to A. But I am thinking about modifying the design and make more sets to go with evening dresses.
